Bharti Airtel Offers Free Adobe Express Premium to Its 360 Million Users
Bharti Airtel has announced a major digital initiative by partnering with US-based software company Adobe to provide Adobe Express Premium free for one year to nearly 360 million Airtel customers across India. The move aims to strengthen India’s rapidly growing creator economy and expand access to AI-powered creative tools.
Under the initiative, Airtel subscribers will be able to use Adobe Express Premium’s advanced design and artificial intelligence features to create professional-quality social media posts, marketing creatives, short videos, presentations, and other digital content—without requiring prior design experience.
Airtel stated that the subscription, valued at approximately ₹4,000 annually, will be available at no additional cost to all mobile, broadband (Wi-Fi), and DTH customers. Users can activate the benefit directly through the Airtel Thanks App, with no credit card or payment details required.
Commenting on the partnership, Siddharth Sharma, CEO (Connected Homes) and Director (Marketing) at Bharti Airtel, said the initiative is focused on empowering individuals from all walks of life. He noted that students, small business owners, and digital creators can now access professional creative tools that were earlier limited to paid users.
Adobe executives also highlighted the significance of the collaboration, stating that making Adobe Express Premium widely accessible would help accelerate content creation and digital storytelling across India. The company sees the partnership as a step toward enabling more individuals and businesses to participate in the digital economy.
Adobe Express Premium includes thousands of ready-to-use templates, including designs tailored for Indian festivals, weddings, and local business promotions. The platform also offers AI-driven features such as background removal, instant image generation, one-tap video editing, auto captions, and quick resizing for multiple platforms.
Additional benefits include access to premium Adobe Stock assets, over 30,000 professional fonts, 100GB of cloud storage, and advanced editing tools designed to simplify content creation for beginners and professionals alike.
With this move, Airtel becomes one of the first telecom operators in India to bundle a full-scale creative software subscription with its consumer services, reinforcing its focus on digital innovation and value-added offerings for customers.
