4 Influencers Booked Over E20 Fuel Row, FIR Filed for Allegedly Defaming Nitin Gadkari

Nagpur Cyber Police have registered an FIR against four social media influencers, including popular YouTuber Manish Kashyap, for allegedly spreading misleading information about E20 ethanol fuel and defaming Union Minister Nitin Gadkari.
The other individuals named in the FIR are Desi BoysNCR, Harshit Rathi, and Anklesh Invate. According to the police, the influencers uploaded videos on platforms such as YouTube and Instagram, alleging large-scale fraud linked to the government’s ethanol policy while associating Gadkari’s name with the claims.
The complaint was filed by Shishir Tripathi, head of the BJP’s social media cell in Nagpur. It alleges that the influencers used misleading content and purported public interviews to create sensational videos aimed at damaging Gadkari’s political image and increasing their online reach.
Police officials stated that the initial investigation found no evidence linking Nitin Gadkari to the alleged frauds shown in the videos. Authorities claim the minister’s name was used without any factual basis and that the content spread misinformation.
A technical investigation is now underway to determine the origin of the videos and whether there was any larger conspiracy behind their circulation. Further action will be taken based on the findings of the investigation.
